East Coast Regional & South Carolina State Qualifying Duck Calling Competition

Get ready for one of the most exciting events of the season — the South Carolina State and East Coast Regional Duck Calling Competition! We've put out a call for the best callers from across the region will go head-to-head for a shot at the $500 first-place prize and the chance to qualify for the World’s Championship Duck Calling Contest in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just love the sound of a good call, this is your chance to experience the skill, energy, and friendly rivalry that make this tradition so special. Come out, compete or cheer on the competitors, and enjoy a full day of talent, sportsmanship, and good Southern fun.

Live Music Lineup

We’ve prepared two days of incredible of live music with plenty of good vibes to go around! Preston Duffee — a rising country artist who caught national attention as a contestant on American Idol! Preston brings heartfelt songwriting and authentic Southern energy to the stage, blending traditional country roots with a modern edge. His original music, including the emotional “Something to Write About,” struck a chord with fans across the country — and at the Great Outdoors Expo, you’ll see exactly why.

We'll also be joined by two local favorites: Green Swamp Collective is known for their soulful mix of rock, funk, and swampy Southern grooves that always get the crowd moving. Chappell Court brings a fresh, high-energy sound with tight harmonies and a local flavor that hits just right.

Ultimate Air Dogs - Dock Diving Competition

Compete for the national title in this first round event! Your dog doesn't have to jump 20ft to get a ribbon! Ultimate Air Dogs created the Divisional Finals, where the top 5 dogs from each division are invited to compete in a Grand Finale! Dogs come first as Ultimate Air Dogs provides more open dock time than any other organization. Whenever possible, the dock is open for practice. If dogs are having difficulty learning, a crew of volunteers will often provide free help between activities. Every Ultimate Air Dog is equally special. All mixes and breeds are welcome! Professional Fishing Demonstrations

Get ready to reel in some serious knowledge! All weekend long, the Hawg Trough will be the center of action as professional anglers take the stage — or rather, the tank — for a series of live fishing demonstrations. This is your chance to see how the pros do it up close: real techniques, real tips, and real fish behavior, all from just a few feet away.
